OpenStudy (anonymous):

are peptides made from repeating units of amino acids or (amides and acids)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that protiens is made from two amino acids but they are not the same because one has an amide end and the other has a carboxyl end so....

OpenStudy (somy):

no

OpenStudy (somy):

An amino acid EACH has amine end and carboxyl end (except proline- its amine group is bonded to its side chain)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so its repeating unites of amino acids...

OpenStudy (somy):

OpenStudy (somy):

R group is only distinct difference between amino acids

OpenStudy (somy):

yes thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh and one more question, in order to have an addition polymerization, does it have to have a double or triple bond?

OpenStudy (somy):

double or triple between what? polymerzation of what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

between carbon atoms, just any monomers that contain double or triple bonds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like I know something like this can ..|dw:1426531668710:dw| but what about something like this |dw:1426531690485:dw|
