MEDAL AND FAN!!! A skydiver prepares to jumps out of a plane. Explain how gravity and air resistance will affect the motion of the skydiver before and after he or she opens the parachute. You don't have to write a big explanation about it, just tell me the jist of it please :)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... gravity sucks... so he will always fall. the the motion is slowed when the parachute is opened.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain how air resitence would affect he or she before they open the parachute?

OpenStudy (ashes.boom):

xD @campbell_st lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok because the gravity is going inward meaning that is is being forced down on earth, he willl fare. I f he open his parachute after then he will fall slowly because the air catched in the parachute is making it more slowly because the atmospshere or sum stuff like that. There lel

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the parachute has a large surface area, increasing the wind resistance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea exactly i cant really liek describe it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's ok I got a pretty good idea of it now :)
