The radius of a cylinder is 15 cm. The volume of the cylinder, found using 3.14 to approximate pi, is 19,782 cm^3. What is the height of the cylinder? Express your answer as a whole number.

OpenStudy (amorfide):

equation for volume of a cylinder \[V=\pi(r^{2})h\] rearrange to get h \[\frac{ V }{ \pi(r^{2}) }=h\]

OpenStudy (amorfide):

V is the volume, r is the radius you know these values, substitute them into the equation and work out h the height
