OpenStudy (igreen):

What do you think? A right triangle has to have an angle of 90 degrees, an obtuse triangle has to have an angle of greater than 90 degrees.

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

D.?

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (igreen):

No..let's say we have a 90 degree angle(right) and a 91 degree angle(obtuse) What's 90 + 91?

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

181

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, and THREE angles of a triangle have to add up to 181..

OpenStudy (igreen):

180*

OpenStudy (igreen):

So what do you think?

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

A.?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Correct!

OpenStudy (igreen):

If one angle is 90 and the other is over 90, we cannot have a third angle.
