what do they mean by "one side" a circle doesn't have sides.
OpenStudy (gokuporter):
idk
OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
Oooo I think I get it now the diameter is the distance from one edge of the circle to the next so they want one half the area of the pita bread or one half of the circle!
OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
so we know that the formula for the area of a circle is A=pi*r^2 so the radius of a circle is half the diameter so, if we cut the diameter in half what do we get?

OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
so what do you get if you cut the circumference (11) in half?
OpenStudy (gokuporter):
5? @SydtheKid913
OpenStudy (sydthekid913):
it is 5.5 but you were close after that you square the 5.5 so what is 5.5 times 5.5?
OpenStudy (gokuporter):
30.25 @SydtheKid913
