OpenStudy (ondinana):

Before I agree, or disagree, read that out loud with what you think it is, and see if it makes sense. c;

OpenStudy (girlgoyleh.):

Has is referring to singular subjects. the subjects in this sentence are members

OpenStudy (ondinana):

So now what do you think it is? (If you've read it out loud with your choices and analyzed.)

OpenStudy (bohotness):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, Read the sentence carefully. If you really look at it, "Talk" makes the most sense. "The book club members talk about many interesting topics at their meetings." this sentence's tenses are correct, as the others are not.

OpenStudy (ondinana):

@Safe-Haven It's better to let the asker figure it out themselves even if it takes time than to just automatically tell them...

OpenStudy (ondinana):

But yes, "talk" is correct. :/

OpenStudy (bohotness):

okay thank you :D

OpenStudy (ondinana):

Anytime. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ondinana Most times it is, But also, giving the answer and explaining why this answer is correct is a good way to help them remember it, as you are giving them a demonstration of the answer. I completely understand your point, but sometimes I find it better to just give an explanation as to why it is correct, sorry if it bothers you. ^_^

OpenStudy (ondinana):

It doesn't bother me, so long as you explain. But just be fore-warned that it does "bother" the OS moderators and you could get potentially banned or suspended. @Safe-Haven
