I caught a few grammar and punctuation errors as I was reading, mainly with capitalization and comma placement and stuff like that. Other than that, the story looks pretty interesting. As a writer, please be careful to not fall into one of those stereotypical writing patterns. Don't make your story predictable as you continue because (I am in no way trying to be derogatory), as I read it, I was able to guess fairly well what would happen. Your opening was pretty good, so follow that pattern, follow the path and writing style that your opening demonstrated.

I thank you very much for your input! I plan on going back to fix the mistakes I have and have been attempting to come up with better ideas, with having a 6 month old, it can be very hard! Thank you so much! If you have any ideas or other tips, please tell me! :)
