company earned 2400 cost of tools - 525 -----------------------subtract money for profits 1875 but don't forget you are splitting it equally with your 4 friends...so that is a total of 5 people. So in order to find out how much each person gets paid, you would have to divide the money for profits by 5, giving you 1875/5 which equals 375. So you (yourself) made 375 profit...and each one of your friends made 375 profit a piece as well.
