PLEASE HELP!! MEDAL!! I"m gonna be writing a speech about tardy policy in school and I dont know how to start it...please help!!

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Okay, do you have anything?

OpenStudy (clamin):

my speech is going to be argumentative or persuasion

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Alright, so lets see.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Lets start off by saying how bad or important it is to not be tardy.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Or, how important it is to be early to school, but since tardy is the topic, we'll talk about..^^^

OpenStudy (clamin):

theres pros and cons about tardy policy right?? or no

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Of course. However, when you define being "tardy" its not a good thing.

OpenStudy (clamin):

okay...i cant decide whether im on the students side (they dont like tardy policy) or the school

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Alright, well, that's where the argument comes to place. Put yourself in the students place. If you're late to school, it obviously affects your attendance and it goes on your record and then for your future, education wise, colleges and universities see those records. Put yourself in the school's place. Having that policy gives them a sense of power, of the students and the teachers, as well.

OpenStudy (clamin):

thank you

OpenStudy (inowalst):

You're welcome.
