LaTeX Practicing! ^.^
Alright, so to start a code, always remember to start each command with `\(` and end with `\)`. For instance, to create this: \(\color{red}{Hello!}\) Type: `\(\color{red}{Hello!}\)`
does it work if you don't have the program?
You don't have to download anything, it's within OpenStudy. ^.^
Just try it. xD
oh, kewl \(\color{red}{Hello!}\) like this?
oh, sweet :D
Yep! :3 So, you can change fonts by adding the font code.. The codes are: \sf \(\sf\Large\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \tt \(\Large\tt\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \it \(\Large\it\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \bf \(\Large\bf\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \rm \(\Large\rm\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \cal \(\Large\cal\color{magenta}{Hello!}\) \frak \(\Large\frak\color{magenta}{Hello!}\)
how do you remember the codes?
The font code goes after the size and before the color code. `\(\Large\bf\color{magenta}{Hello!}\)` Makes \(\Large\bf\color{magenta}{Hello!}\)
I use them a lot, so I remember them easily. xD You can keep the codes in a Word Document, though.
Try it once with another font. :3
\(\Large\frak\color{magenta}{Hello!}\)
\(\Large\frak\color{magenta}{Perfect!~\bigstar}\) Also, the sizes are: \tiny \(\tiny\color{red}{Hello!}\) \normalsize \(\normalsize\color{red}{Hello!}\) \large \(\large\color{red}{Hello!}\) \Large \(\Large\color{red}{Hello!}\) \LARGE \(\Large\color{red}{Hello!}\) \huge \(\huge\color{red}{Hello!}\)
sweet :) \(\normalsize\it\color{red}{THANKS!}\)
Of course! There is more, though. xD For the colors, you can type pretty much any color name, just make sure it's in the brackets. Also, the most common symbol codes are \bigstar \(\Large\color{lime}{\bigstar}\) And \heartsuit \(\Large\color{lime}{\heartsuit}\) There are TONS more, though. XD
cool. i'll look it up on da internet...
Awesomeness. cx There are also boxes and stuffs, but I won't flood you with information. X'D Anyways, if you wanna learn more or have questions, just lemme know. ^.^
thank you so much, i will ;)
\(\Large\bf\color{red}{Y}\color{gold}{o}\color{lime}{u}\color{cyan}{'}\color{blue}{r}\color{blueviolet}{e~}\color{purple}{W}\color{magenta}{e}\color{orchid}{l}\color{red}{c}\color{gold}{o}\color{lime}{m}\color{cyan}{e}\color{blue}{!}\) XD Btw, when you see a LaTeX command, you can left click it, then click "TeX commands" to see the code.. ^.^
Oh, and \(\Large\frak\color{blueviolet}{Welcome~to~\LaTeX!}\)
ohh, i see. wow, that "you're welcome" took a lot of commands! and thx for introducing me to latex :P
Haha yeah, I'm known for going overboard on commands.. I used to fill up 15 Word Document pages worth of codes just to make one thing... Yeah. X'D But you're welcome!
wow, that's crazy. but it sounds kinda fun... anyway ttyl
It is.. Haha, cya! ^.^
