When Scuba Steph got back to the beach, she sat in the sun. After a little while, she noticed that there was a white, powdery residue on the sleeve of her wetsuit. What is that? A. A stain from the sulfate in the ocean water B. Dust from the coral reef she must have accidentally hit C. Salt left behind after water evaporated D. Powdered sugar from the donut she had for breakfast

I believe it's A

OpenStudy (leonardo0430):

it would be C, when you take ocean water and heat it to a certain emp, water evaporates and only salt is left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is C. When you swim in the ocean, salt sticks to you. Then when the water dries out, salt residue is left behind.

Thank you
