OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

Help please! Will medal! How many three-digit counting numbers are there that are less than 300 such that all the digits are even?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since you're restricting the numbers to have three digits, and all digits must be even, you know that each number \(x\) must be at least \(200\). For the tens and ones digits, how many ways can you have two even numbers?

OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

So there's only one number for the hundreds slot that's smaller than 300 and is still an even number that gets me three digits, whereas there is 5 in the tens and 5 in the ones. So I have 25 as the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I would say, yes.

OpenStudy (jojokiw3):

Thanks!
