Help please. REALLY HARD
@AnswerMyQuestions @iGreen
it is simply area of the trapezoid - area of the semi circle. Trapezoid \[A = \frac{1}{2} \times (a + b) \times height\] a and b are the parallel sides 8 and 14, the height = 5 the semi-circle is \[A = \frac{\pi \times r^2}{2}\] you are given a diameter of 8 so find the radius
@campbell_st what is the a and b

a and b are the lengths of the parallel sides of the trapezoid
i know but im confused what do we plug into a and b
into the formula for the area of a trapezoid \[A = \frac{1}{2} \times (a + b) \times height\]

srry im not really good at this wish i could help but i cant :/
you have a = 8, b = 14 and height = 5 just substitute them into the formula to calculate the area
