PLEASE HELP!!! The graphs of f(x) and g(x) are shown below: Image Below!!! What are the solutions to the equation f(x) = g(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = -1, 5.4 x = -3, 4 x = -1, 2 x = -10, 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol yus =P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u good at math?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty sure the solutions are where f(x) intersects with g(x) right? =)

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

lets see ^_^

@andrewhaze

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

can I tag someone to help me out to solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes sure =)

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@sleepyhead314

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

solutions are where they intersect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, so which one is the correct coordinate where they intersect? @sleepyhead314

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

http://prntscr.com/6i1kn1

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

not coordinate just the x's

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

oh i was only looking at the bottom one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right but for the ordered pair to be right the x and the y has to be right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the pair with the 5.4 is supposed to be (5.4, 11) to be right

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

the options you showed us, you only need teh x parts of it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wait, nvr mind! I figured it out! =) Duh! sorry =)

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

:P glad we could help ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):
