Which of the following is an example of a chemical change? water evaporating from a swimming pool on a hot day mixing baking soda and vinegar to make lava for a model volcano an icicle melting and making a puddle on the sidewalk clumps of salt crystals being broken up to form a powder

Water evaporating is a physical change, as well as ice melting and salt being broken up, since you could see it changing, but the substance isn't changed into a whole new one. The only one changing irreversibly through chemical reactions is the baking soda and vinegar mixing to make lava.
