FOR FUN: Recall how you got hooked onto OS..

Mine is pretty simple...needed help for a math test. So I looked for tutors, FREE ones, obviously there are NONE LOL.

Someway, somehow found openstudy..never did I think I would be using it consistently ever since o.o

I got hooked up when I met new people here and made friends. Also I liked helping people.

My brother and I competed to see who could get the highest Smart Score.(We still are, and I am winning haha) and its fun to help people.

I was failing Calculus :D
got a 52% on the first test
and a 57% on the second test
I decided to look for help, and found Paul's Online Math Notes
it had a OpenStudy ad on there
and so I found OpenStudy.

Here, I found people that helped me get my grades up
then I realized that I could help others with their questions!
and seeing them thank me made me feel really good about myself
and so I got hooked ^_^

A friend told me about os, and I was like: Umm.
Then I had a question. Then I saw her get the help she needed. Then I was like: Okay.
Then I started helping others, but I gave direct answers. I got told off by some 99ers. I got upset about that. Then a mod warned me, I got very angry about that.
Then I decided to try out following the CoC.
Then I decided that it was fun because the 99ers were funny and kind.
Then I started making a lot of friends.
Then I decided that I liked being here. :D

Actually, I found this site when I searched up my questions and I saw that this site had all the answers. Until one day I didn't find the answer to one question, so I had to make an account at the end.

I wanted to know why I got a question on a math test wrong, so I searched it and found OS. The question had already been asked/answered, but I didn't understand any of the explanations, so I made an account. Then @jigglypuff314 decided to come and help me. The rest is history.

Was looking for a pirate, found OS and from there on found the user @.Sam.
Asked him to bury my treasure and he decided to bury it on OS and from that day I have been looking for my treasure, and that is the only reason why I am still here on OS. And till I have found my treasure, I'll be here forever.

To be realistic, once upon a time Mira was bored and was looking for something fun and yet productive, so she searched the net for websites which were under that criteria so she came across OS and that's where her never-ending journey began.

I was on break before my calc class and decided to read paul's online notes. there was a little sidebar with a feed of questions and I knew how to answer some of them and so I clicked on over because I needed a distraction. (nov 2012)

yeah, it's just a welcome feeling logging onto OS after a few months of using it. You start to feel as if you know a lot of people.

When you have the same people helping you, giving you praise for understanding and learning your questions...it's just nice.

Same goes to helping others (especially the same ones over and over again), and seeing them understanding is a good feeling
