“Experiencing” - Carefully reread the passage from "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury, and write an essay explaining what advice you would give George and Lydia Hadley on how to become better parents.
What is your question? I can't exactly write the essay for you! :)
Have you read the story? Their house is like a smart house. Things are done for them/ The house cooks for the family, etc. The kids never had to tie their own shoes or brush their own teeth, etc... They're pretty spoiled and they get everything they want. When things don't go in their way, they get angry. So what the question is asking is what are good ways of how George and Lydia can improve their kids' behaviors?
What do you think? How do you think the parents should start?
I think they could start by stop spoiling their kids and instead of giving them more time in the room, to give them less time. Also, in the story it seems like when there kids disobey they just give them more of what they want besides taking it away. I just need help with more examples from the story.
