How do you tag someone using the @ symbol. People send me notifications that are yellow in the Posting/response text box. When I use @ and the name it stays white??? Also everyone can read mine, and it seems that when it is yellow only I can read it although it is in the reply box with all of the other replies. Can anyone help me?

I don't clearly understand what you're saying, but I think what you're talking about is the reply box turns yellow, but that's only when someone tags YOU. :)

You tagged someone by putting @ before their usernames : @(insert_username_here)
The use of this is to summon the person you tagged in a question to help you.
And yes, if you were tagged by someone and you went to the question, the comment box, in which you get tagged will appear as yellow, but only you can see that yellow comment (:

When I tag someone should it turn yellow as well? Because when I do it, it never turns yellow and other people can see what I wrote.

if you tag someone, it won't show as yellow to you, but it will show yellow to the person you tagged ^_^

@Data_LG2 Here is an example of me tagging you, and this box will not turn yellow for me and probably everyone else will be able to read it.
