oki i really need help ples. ;^; The description below represents Function A and the table represents Function B: Function A The function is 5 more than 3 times x. Function B x y -1 2 0 5 1 8 Which statement is correct about the slope and y-intercept of the two functions?!!!!!!!

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Function B might need a little modding...and i assume that function A is f(x) = 5 + 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i did was copy the problem

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

lol i see that but i cant really understand this table beacause its messed up: x y -1 2 0 5 1 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand any of it

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

x y -1 2 0 5 1 8 Let me assume this is it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oki

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

This is function A:

Which statement is correct about the slope and y-intercept of the two functions? Their slopes are equal but y-intercepts are not equal. Their slopes are not equal but y-intercepts are equal. Both slopes and y-intercepts are equal. Neither slopes nor y-intercepts are equal.

these are the answers

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Find the slope of Function B using: y2 - y1/ x2 - x1 and use these coordinates: -1,2 0,5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh could u tell me how i do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im just gunna pick a

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

2 - 5/0 - (-1)

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Yeh its A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay thank chu <3

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

lol np Btw welcome to Openstudy If you have any questions regarding the site or anything else please feel free to contact me...I don't bite unless im in chibi form.
