OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

function only is a dumb answer, all functions are relations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i know right

OpenStudy (misty1212):

put in one number, say \(-2\) get out one number, in this case \[|-2|+5=2+5=7\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the fact that you get out one number (and not say two) means it IS a function also of course a relation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could also use a vertical line test on the graph. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/aaqj1sqdfn
