So im writing an allegory story about a reporter who decides to not get evidence and scapegoats someone and the hidden meaning is regretting it. BUT I need help on symbolism for the story

I'd stick to writing just from the reporters point of view. Don't add the scapegoats point of view, that will make your writing messy

So in the first few paragraph i would talk about the reporter and how the sky is bitter autumn and in the middle would talk about the reporter seeing the person doing something terrible wrong in the reporter view and realizes he does not need evidence and in the last few parapgh would talk about the family killing themself
