What is the circumference of a circle with a radius of 1.4 m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8.8 m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to do this, multiply the radius by two then multiply that number by pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C=2πr=2·π·1.4≈8.79646m, Round that off, 8.8

And welcome to Openstudy :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah i found that already but the problem doesn't ask you to completely ask you to solve it the options are A.0.7pi B.1.4pi C.1.96pi D.2.8pi and i chose D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are correct. 8.8 divided by PI/3.14 = 2.8, and that brings you to 2.8pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So here you would do 2r and just add the pi to the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for the help ^^

Welcome :)

and welcome to openstudy once again :)
