how come earth science is so slow on responses? i asked a question and almost an hour ago. and there are questions over a month old.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It's called a "dead subject". Not many users study that subject. Tagging people should help you get your questions answered.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says a lot of people study it i saw like 66 ppl there earlier.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes, but those users aren't looking at that topic, they may be in Math, etc.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@flowers4547 at the moment im talking Earth and Space Science so I might be of assistance mate ^_^ just hurry I got to go to work soon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea math is like the most popular.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes, everyone has problems with math.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question for earth science is how is a canyon a valley, a gorge, and volcano alike? and the info has to be 2 powerpoint pages long for some reason it just has to stay 32 on both pages.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

http://prntscr.com/6is46m <--- this is what I mean. They are online on different subjects, but they're looking at posts on a different subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i know i've seen that before. i mean i need help with earth science sometimes and no one is there and it is against os rules to post something in the wrong subject so i can only ask my question there.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Tag them...you know how to tag right?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

For example: @just_one_last_goodbye

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

That brings a user to your post of they want to go to your post,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea but the people i fanned are always offline

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It doesn't have to be the users you fanned.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I can tag you even though I didn't fan you.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@flowers4547 they are alike because natural features form them such as the Canyon is formed after years of flowing water and the dirt below isn't made for water so It washes it away and makes it deeper... we see this example with the Grand Canyon, Volcanoes are formed when hot magma under the Earth's crust starts to come out and the magma either touches water or a cool surface and makes it rock... making islands and then every time this happens a new layer of rock forms and sooner or later you'll have a mountain which are the volcanoes we see today. ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know any one else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thxs

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Tbh, Earth Science was just a recently added subject. So not many people know about it.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

No prob ^_^

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And in the beginning me, @Joel_the_boss and @Secret-Ninja were very active in it. And now we kind of don't check it anymore.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Anything Else I can help with sir?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no but i'm a girl.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

._.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

oh im sorry xD forgive me mam

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

lol JOLB

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

shush Lynn xD all it says is "flowers" so i thought it was a guy

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Once the three of us got 50+ medals in Earth Science we kind of went inactive in that subject. But Earth Science was a recently added like 3 months ago. After @Donblue22 suggested that as a subject :D

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Welp off I go to help my fellow openstudiers ~flies like superman to my job~

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

@TheSmartOne If I remember correctly @thomaster also suggested the subject or another mod, like 2 years ago. xD Don just go the recent attention.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

xD

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Since Earth Science is new, does that mean I have the highest number of medals there? :p
