If I have x=2y and x+y=5 then I can replace x with 2y:

x+y=5 becomes 2y+y=5

You can do the same sort of thing in yours.

a+10 = e which also means e=a+10

You have a solution for e in terms of a. That is what they call it in mathematics. So replace e in the other equation with (a+10) and what do you get?
