Question

My question was "In your family, who does the cooking, who sets the table and who washes the dishes." My answer is suppose to be in Spanish.
I tried as well as I could.
Please help me and see if I did this correctly.
En mi familia, mi novio tiene la cocina, nuestros hijos y yo poner la mesa y hacer los platos.
I'm trying to say, "In my family, my boyfriend does the cooking, our kids and I set the table and do the dishes."

the correct way to say that would be
En mi familia mi novio es el que cocina mientras que nuestros hijos y yo vamos preparando la mesa y despues fregamos los platos.

or you could also say
En mi familia el que cocina es mi novio, mientras nuestros hijos me ayudan a preparar la mesa y a fregar los platos. (or you could also say lavar los platos)

haha yeah I had to go from spanish to english and it was not fun specially because there are way to write verbs or subject in spanish that are extremely difficult and hard to understand in english

Hey you can also say poner la mesa for set the table. Just wanted to let you guys know :)
