OpenStudy (irishboy123):

the answer they want is position.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

not the right answer, but the one they want.

OpenStudy (shamim):

When a book is on ur table. It has potential energy 5 joule for example. But kinetic energy is=0 joule

OpenStudy (shamim):

But when the book is falling frm the table its kinetic energy increases and potential energy decreases. Just before touching the floor the kinetic energy will b 5 joule and potential energy will b =0

OpenStudy (shamim):

So potential energy and kinetic energy depend on the position of an object
