@AllTehMaffs can you help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure ^_^ Do you remember how to find the slope of a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no...sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the slope of a line is the "rise over the run" - how far down a line goes divided by how far over a line goes. \[ m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] What are the two ordered pairs that the problem gives?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! i remember the slope now! i totally forgot about that formula!1 haha its, 0,10 and 11,2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8/-11 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

am i way off?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope, you're super close! You have the right answer, but y2 and x2 are generally the points that are farthest left, so it'd technically be -8/11 - in this case it doesn't matter because one of the terms is negative either way, but it's good to remember.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no you are spot on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooops, sorry, the points that are farthest right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh okay~ so the answer would be B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup yup ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks so much!! i already gave you a medal :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you much, and nice job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks ^^
