OpenStudy (igreen):

Mean is the average, to calculate add up the values and divide by how many numbers you have. Data: 2, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

I'm A Little Confused

OpenStudy (igreen):

Add up the numbers and divide by how many there are(8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5.37

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yeah..now round it to one decimal alce.

OpenStudy (igreen):

*place

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How Would I Round It

OpenStudy (igreen):

You only want 1 number after the decimal. So look at the number after 3, if it's 5 or more, we round up and add 1 to 3, if it's 4 or less, we just get rid of 7.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 5.4
