The antagonist; look at the word. Doesn't it kind of seem like anti-protagonist?

B can't be right since the antagonist has a different main purpose. It is possible for them to explain that, but it's not their main purpose. C is incorrect because that's usually the role of descriptive language. D is once again like B; it's not the main purpose of the antagonist.
