OpenStudy (freckles):

Do you know what the highest y value our function takes is ? Do you know what the lowest y value our function takes is?

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

no

OpenStudy (freckles):

The y-axis is that vertical line. You should be able to find the highest and lowest point on your curve and run your finger horizontally til you reach the y-axis and read what the highest and lowest y value are.

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

4 & -4

OpenStudy (freckles):

that's right. now if you run your finger vertically til you get to the theta (sometimes called x axis) you can read for what theta those y vales you just found occur

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

i dont understand what you mean
