OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

can anybody check my work on scale factors?

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

http://prntscr.com/6j5cb7

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

are these right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y is no one replying to ur ques. is it so tough for them

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

lol, must be..

OpenStudy (igreen):

The first one here is correct. http://prntscr.com/6j5btv

OpenStudy (igreen):

The other one isn't..

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

Thank you soo much

OpenStudy (igreen):

I'm guessing you're going from I to II?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

NOOOO

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

They are all wrong...

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

AH

OpenStudy (igreen):

? What's wrong about the first one? I = Side length of 3 II = Side length of 6 6 / 3 = 2

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Not all of them, only the first one is correct. The rest are wrong

OpenStudy (igreen):

:P

OpenStudy (igreen):

Remember, if the scale factor is greater than 1, it gets BIGGER, if it's smaller than 1, it gets SMALLER.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

For the second and third figure, the figure becomes smaller, so the scale factor will be less than 1.

OpenStudy (igreen):

What's the side length(in the 2nd question) of the triangle in here? http://prntscr.com/6j5btv

OpenStudy (igreen):

triangles*

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

3

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

then it goes to 1, so it would be 1/3 right?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

yup!

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, you got it.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Try the other one's over again.

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

http://prntscr.com/6j5jzf

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

http://prntscr.com/6j5k5c

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):

i think i got it :o

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Good job :D

OpenStudy (igreen):

OpenStudy (baby_bear69):
