i dont think irony works because its not contradicting. i dont know what narrative structure is, and allusion draws a picture so i have no idea...

I'm glad you've ruled out things by logic; however, allusion has another definition to it. An example of allusion in English: The couple's romance was an allusion of Romeo and Juliet.
