Write the object pronouns that would correctly complete each sentence. Yo compro la computadora para mi mamá. Yo _____ _____ compro.
it would be yo compre la computadora para mi mama. instead of yo compro
I just have to fill in the two blanks =o
Yo la computadora compro? possibly. i don't know... do you have certain words you have to use?
No it's just fill in the blank =/
Hello, @Cassandra_Lea_96 ! Here's the list of pronouns you'll need :) DIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS (yo) -- me (tú) -- te (él/ ella/ Ud.) -- lo/ la (/le is possible when used with a masculine human being [e.g. *hombre*]) (nosotros/ nosotras) -- nos (vosotros/ vosotras) -- os (ellos/ ellas/ Uds.) -- los/ las (/les is possible when used with masculine human beings [e.g. *hombres*]) INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS (yo) -- me (= a mí) (tú) -- te (= a ti) (él/ ella/ Ud.) -- le/ se (= a él/ ella/ usted) (nosotros/ nosotras) -- nos (= a nosotros/ -as) (vosotros/ vosotras) -- os (= a vosotros/ -as) (ellos/ ellas/ Uds.) -- les/ se (= a ellos/ ellas/ ustedes) REMEMBER: When to use the indirect object pronoun *se*? *Se* replaces *le/les* Whenever you have this combination: *le/les* + *lo/la/los/las* So: --> *se* + *lo/la/los/las* Eg.: *Le lo doy* [this would be wrong, so it becomes] --> *Se lo doy.* Hope this helps! Blessings
Hi again! I just hope this doesn't look too difficult... The key idea is you need to combine a DO pronoun with an IO pronoun... And you'll notice that, in theory, you would get this kind of combination: *le/les* + *lo/la/los/las*. (But this is never said in Spanish, is it?) --> So, in order for you to make it grammatical, you'll need to replace *le/les* with *se". Hope this makes it easier! :)
thank you so much!! it helped tremendously =)
Glad to read that!
