How many solutions are there to the following system of equations? 6x + 24y = 10 2x + 8y = 7 0 2 infinitely many 1

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

First Step: Simplify each equation as much as you can. Do this by dividing the dividing the equations by the GCF of all the coefficients.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it infinite many

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Sorry, no its not. REVISED INSTRUCTIONS: I would actually divide each equation by just the x-coefficent. So for the first equation, divide by 6. And for the second, divide by 2.
