Why are microclimates important to living things

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Welcome to openstudy! :D I see your not here at the moments but here's some information that could get you started on finding the answer. :) A microclimate is a local atmospheric zone where the climate differs from the surrounding area. The term may refer to areas as small as a few square feet (for example a garden bed) or as large as many square miles. They change the temperature depending on the surrounding area. Hope this helps when you come back. :)
