If the graph goes upward from left to right, there is a positive correlation.
If the graph goes upward from right to left, there is a negative correlation.
If the graph has dot spread everywhere, and you cannot make a best fit line, the graph has no correlation.

Point 2, of my first post should say, If the graph goes downward from left to right, there is a negative correlation.
