The problem is simply this: It serves no learning purpose.

Things not related to learning are not wanted on the site. They have specific goals for the site and the content on it.

Read the into pages here and watch Preetha's assorted talk videos. You get a very good idea of what they do and do not want on the site.

For hyper links within openstudy, its https and you also have to add a extra / after https making it https:/// then the rest of the link, outside of the openstudy domain its http:///
Now then... its "href" not "ref" and finally, you have to put in text you want it to say... so after the final bracket, you need "{}" after you finish the bracket after the link...

You can also do /ref so you dont need the text, however it will only appear as 3 ?'s... and you would still need the https:/// or http:///

However that way doesnt allow anything after study.... so iut will bring then to the default subject being "study" which shows you the last viewed subjecy.
