Which of the following are effects of alcohol on the human body? Increased body temperature Decreased heart rate Decreased breathing rate Artery disease Rapid eye movement Depression of central nervous system Improved coordination

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

All of these, with the exception of improved coordination (obviously) and also increased body temperature..apparently alcohol only makes you FEEL warmer..but it lowers body temperature in reality.

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

Hello! So right off the bat we can obviously cancel out improved coordination, why? Because your ability to coordination decreases, that's why they tell you to NEVER drink and drive. Second one we can cancel out is Artery disease because artery disease is caused by plaque building up in your arteries, drinking too much alcohol causes liver disease. Drinking DOES cause rapid eye movement or a "weak" eye, but over time and with heavy drinking. Drinking alcohol make you feel warm and fuzzy but it actually decreases your body temperature
