thermal equilibrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it when temp of both is the same or when thermal energy for both is the same?

OpenStudy (ondinana):

You're correct! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so..... is it both? or just one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ondinana

OpenStudy (ondinana):

The first one. Thermal equilibrium is when the two temperatures are the same. Ex: Two objects are in contact heat, when both objects are the same temperature, then thermal equilibrium has been achieved. ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so just to clarify again and its the same temp NOT thermal energy right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know its right but it wont feel right unless i clarified again hehe @Ondinana

OpenStudy (ondinana):

Yup! It is indeed the same temperature, not thermal energy. I know how you feel by the way. XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thank you! :)

OpenStudy (ondinana):

Anytime! :D
