@563blackghost

563blackghost (563blackghost):

which answers do you think are correct?

OpenStudy (narissa):

would it be a and b?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

not exactly since the size of the shape are different...

OpenStudy (narissa):

a and d maybe?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Lets first see how much the original triangle dilated to form the second triangle...

OpenStudy (narissa):

1/2? im confused!!

563blackghost (563blackghost):

now....P (2,1) is connected to R(4,-1) and they cover 2 units.....P2 (-4,2) is connected to R2 (-8,-2) which covers 4 units now we put it into a ratio.... \[\frac{ 4 }{ 2 }\] now we should simplify this ration which would equal 2 so it is D

OpenStudy (narissa):

but theres more than 1 answer or no?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

yes there is....its a like you said.....Congrats!! i just need to work it out to see...

563blackghost (563blackghost):
