Can someone please read my persuasive speech and check for any mistakes and give opinions?

Persuasive Speech: Are You Ready for the Future?
Colleges have been around for a long time; in fact famous universities like Oxford and Cambridge in London were established in the 12th century which is more than 800 years back! Back then, higher education was meant for the rich and the upper class nobles. However, since then, times have changed dramatically and technology along with it. It is obvious that the completion of your higher education is becoming a necessity for success.
Firstly, colleges and universities offer a plethora of opportunities which you will not have access to just by completing high school. Successful companies these days are offering big paychecks to those who have experience and knowledge and can get the job done economically and efficiently. This experience and knowledge is provided by colleges. Valuable internships provide even more valuable experience and your degree will show that you have mastered your major. A recent study by the Pew Research Center states that, “those with a college degree now make $17,500 more per year than those without — a wage gap that's doubled in recent decades. Those without a degree are four times more likely to be unemployed.” I, personally, would never even chance being unemployed due to the financial and mental troubles caused by being unemployed.
I do understand that the costs for tuition is higher than ever before and will keep most of us in debt after college, but if you consider the scholarships that greatly reduce the sticker prices and the fruitful results/opportunities available once you are out, completing your higher education will be a choice you will never regret. According to the National Center for Education and the United States Department of Education, The United States Department of Education provides around $100 billion in government financial aid to students in colleges and universities across the nation and More than 66% of undergrad students have received some form and type of financial aid during 2007 and 2008. This trend has increased over the last two years. Paul Taylor, executive vice president of special projects at Pew, says, "In a modern, knowledge-based economy, the only thing more expensive than going to college is not going to college." From this information we can conclude that college has become more important in our generation.
Furthermore, college fully enhances your perception of all areas in life, from academics to real-life situations. This will not only help you in your job or business, but it will make you a better member of society. In college, you go beyond what you are normally taught. There are a variety of majors to choose from and based on your interests, you pave your own path. Apart from academics, it is a very different environment. You are forced to make your own decisions alone, which will make you mature mentally. Numerous students have said that dorm life was a great and unique experience.
In summation, college will fully develop your potential to become more successful and everyone should indeed complete their higher education by considering its benefits and not its price.

It has a lot of given external information, so you have plenty of logos. I see pathos too as you're bringing the perspective of a person in the second to last paragraph.
