1: Tips on how to write in medias res. 2: Tips on how to write in reverse chronology. 3: Okay so I don't remember what it's called but lets say I write two main characters. One chapter is told by the first one and the other chapter is told by the second and they switch back and forth (kind of like the book Trading Faces) BUT the only difference between this is that one character is in one time period/place and the other is in another and I then decide to make them meet. I won't change the switching back and forth but I want to know if YOU were the reader would you find it interesting that they meet lets say half way into the story and then they meet but the back and forth chapter style doesn't change?

1. Hmm...you want to start your story at the most exciting part? all I can say about this is, just try not to give too much information to the readers because it may spoil the major conflict in the story. Provide just enough information on what is happening in the story and be careful about making the transitions between one period to another. Oh! and also it will be more effective if you start it with the actual action not with the setting of the action, if you know what i mean lol. 2. First thing you have to ask yourself, do you really want to make event z to occur first before event a? Well for me, it is better to stick with the chronology because it is easier to write down what you really want to happen in your story. But if you think you can do it, then do it. Only thing you'll need is concentration in order not to get messy with the events, which will make it too vague. Make an outline (brainstorm) first and ask yourself how would you connect these events together to have a good flow? 3. Yes, that will be very interesting but make sure that the readers won't get confuse with the setting of the story. Usually, switching different characters from different time periods is complicated. Even though authors have the idea in their mind, showing it to the readers is the most challenging part. Anyway, are you planning to make one? :) If you do, I would love to read it !

1: Thanks for the advice! Yes I know what you mean by that. Sounds perfect :) 2: Thanks for this. Yes I honestly doubt I'd be able to write this way anyway but I just wanted to see how it would be like written to see how it would look. Awesome advice thanks :) 3: Thank you! :) I know right its so hard sometimes for me to put the ideas I have in my head to actual words. Also I have been suggested by others to write the name of the character & year (if i choose to time travel or use a diff time period) on the right top corner of the page above the chapter so people don't get confused which chapter is who. Thanks so much and yes lol I am currently working on my notes and outline for my story so I can get write onto writing it. So excited cause I might publish through amazon which is amazing!!! Thanks I'd love to hear your opinion so when I start writing I'll post a sample of it thanks again!
