Instructions one smaller cube labeled with fish food with dimensions of one-quarters feet on each side. Larger cube labeled shipping box with dimensions of length 3 and three-fourths feet; width of 3 feet; height of 3 and one-quarters feet. Part 1: Understanding Volume What is volume, and how is it measured? Look at the images above. How are the fish food box and the shipping box similar? How are they different? Part 2: Pack It Up! Just by looking at the images, what would be your guess of how many fish food boxes can fit into the shipping box? How did you determine that? There is no right or wrong answer. Determine how many actual fish food boxes fit in the shipping box. Show your work. Part 3: The Space Inside! Find the volume of the shipping box using the two methods and show your work: Packing cubes Using the volume formula Explain how both methods provide the same measurement of volume for the shipping box. Let's ship. You are done! Penny and her classmates thank you.

@Lady.Liv1776 .... do you think you can help me out as well?

what is volume and how is it measured: Volume is how much space a object takes up. It is measured with measuring cups, beakers, etc. For liquids, you just put it in a volumetric measuring device such as a graduated cylinder, For the volume of solids that cannot simply be measured with L x W x H which will give you an answer in units of measurement cubed. An individual can measure the displacement volume of a solid (if it is more dense than the liquid) by filling a graduated cylinder with a liquid and putting the solid to be measured in the same cylinder, then subtracting the measurement of the liquid and solid from that of the measurement of just the liquid

2233 boxes of fish food fit in the box
