@ParthKohli

OpenStudy (igreen):

Another name for a plane would be any 3 points inside the plane.

OpenStudy (igreen):

So what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm still a bit confused, A plan is represented by a flat surface that extends without end and has no thickness. A plane contains infinitely many lines. You can name a plane by a capital letter, such as plane P, or at least three points in the plane that do not all lie on the same line, such as plane ABC is a example of my way about understanding planes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plane*

OpenStudy (igreen):

That's correct..a letter or 3 points in the plane that aren't in a straight line.

OpenStudy (igreen):

So just look at the options and see which one has 3 points that are INSIDE of the plane. 'Z' cannot be in it because it is not a point.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well STV don't seem to be on the same line?

OpenStudy (igreen):

STV isn't one of the options.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Look through the options.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sammixboo

OpenStudy (igreen):

No, it contains point S, and point S is not inside the plane.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain by not inside the plane?

OpenStudy (igreen):

See the shaded area in the box?

OpenStudy (igreen):

That is the plane..and point S is outside of it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I just noticed that lol Okay so it could be. Let me see...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The only one that I'm now seeing it could be is B?

OpenStudy (igreen):

That is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thank you!
