To gain admission to college, which test should a high school student prepare to take?

PSAT and SAT.

PSAT is the pre SAT and if you get a good score in that one, you dont have to take the SAT. However, if you take the PSAT and dont get a good score, review what you got wrong, and take the SAT after.

I'm taking the PSAT at the end of the year just to see where I am on each subject. If I get a good score, I keep that score and that's the one schools see. If I dont get a good score and I want to retake it, schools only count the highest score I've gotten.
