Calculus - Solving Differential equation general question - about picking + or - solution

I am working on a differential equation. dy/dx=(x^2+2x)/2y

OpenStudy (precal):

my solution is +/- square root of ((1/3)x^3+x^2+4) I am given f(0)=2 do I pick + solution because f(0)=2 and 2 is a positive value
