Why can’t the producers in some ecosystems make an unlimited supply of organic material? Temperatures are too hot for photosynthesis. Too many carnivores eat the producers. Energy needed to make organic material is lost as heat. One or more nutrients are in short supply.

if the items are organic, they cannot be man made. Sort of like oil. Oil is an organic material. Eventually, we will run out of it.
