WILL MEDAL BEST AWNSER Which expressions, when evaluated with y = –7, are positive in value? Choose all answers that are correct. A. 18 + 2y B. –3y + (–17) C. –2y – 23 D. –30 – 4y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just Replace every y value with -7.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be A because when you fill in the y 18 + 2 - 7 it would equal positive 13.

A and B only

OpenStudy (thedj4jc):

A and B are your answer. All you have to do is replace all y's with a -7 and then work the problem out. A would be 18+2(-7), B would be -3(-7)+(-17), C would be -2(-7)-23, and D would be -30-4(-7). Hope this helped!!
