Solve the following system of equations graphically. x + y - 4 = 0 x - y = 0 The solution lies in quadrant _____. I II III IV

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its in quadrant I

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bc you solve by elimination and -y+y=0 so you are left with x+x, which is 2x-4=0, add 4 on both sides of equation and you get 2x=4, then divide by 2 on both sides and get x=2, so actually the solution lies in quadrant I & II
