Like I've said before, a common noun is a noun that isn't specified. (Capitalized) Feast and harvest are both nouns that aren't capitalized.
Pilgrims is a proper noun. For example, Snickers isn't a common noun. It's a classification thing. Common nouns are things like car, suit, laptop, etc. A is a verb and first obviously isn't a noun at all.
